The Virden Area Chamber of Commerce is offering two $500 scholarships to any North Mac school district high school senior. The scholarship is open to students attending North Mac High or to those who are home schooled, and living in the North Mac District #34. The VACC scholarship is based on Community Involvement, Employment, Leadership Roles/Recognitions, and Grade Point Average.
Applications are available through the North Mac Guidance Office, at both locations of First National Bank in Girard and Virden; and all three locations of Prairie State Bank and Trust in Virden and Girard.
